Our Activities
Our work revolves around the following main activities.
1. Advancing Culture
One of the goals of the CCASNJ is to build a strong Community spirit among its members and well wishers. As an organization that seeks to unite all Cameroonians in the diaspora, our goal is to create the forum where in this can happen. Promoting our culture which is a symbol of our uniqueness is a means to accomplish unity and togetherness.
2. Humanitarian Assistance
We are supporting individuals whom due to physical disability or environmental conditions are unable to fend for themselves. We donate food supplies and basic needs to help these individuals survive.
3. Refugee Relief
The ongoing bloody war in Southern Cameroon has caused many to flee to neighboring Nigeria to seek refugee. Others have been internally displaced to other parts of Cameroon. These people are facing untold suffering. This has motivated CCASNJ to initiate efforts to help these refugees with food, water, and basic needs that they need to survive and rebuild their lives.
4. Education Support
One of the major projects of the CCASNJ is our Education Support Program. Each year, we support the community with return to school materials including books, learning and other didactic materials etc.
5. Jobs and Health Support
We help individuals get jobs that can empower them to live sustainable lives. We equally provide assistance to those going through critical health conditions.
6. Immigration Services
We support Cameroonians who are seeking for immigration to the United States.
